Leaf Chain - OEM Kit

Following development work with many leading OEM’s, chain assembly kits and package solutions are offered. These are tailor made to suit specific requirements and are dealt with on an individual basis. In creating these kits particular application or assembly needs can be addressed and resolved. These solutions result in an easing of scheduling and supply related problems as well as providing the customer with a uniquely specified, yet coordinated family of parts.

Chains are cut to length and assembled to individually designed anchor bolts and blocks. This saves valuable time on the production line and eliminates chain stock loss from unusable offcuts. Using the latest coatings, lubricants and surface finishes a mix of options are available to suit every application. Chain and anchors can be sleeved in temporary protective plastic tubing, reducing chain contamination, assisting clean assembly and providing a mask for post assembly paint spraying. Permanent protection by way of heat shrunk Neoprene applied to specially lubricated chain is available for difficult environments.

FB Chain’s manufacturing programme includes a diverse range of mast pulleys to suit a variety of arduous applications. Specific heat treatment, integral bushings or bearings, for example, can all be supplied to specification.

Complete mast component packages are available bringing together the whole family of parts produced. The package integration is unlimited and existing clients have included items as diverse as composite bushings and nylons stops.

All assembly kits and package solutions can be delivered in the format preferred by the OEM and presented to the assembly line as specified.

Complementary parts designed and manufactured include mast pulleys, chain rollers, mast pivot pins and other similar mast components.

Order Entry Systems

Order entry systems and production control routines efficiently control the OEM's scheduled requirements. Often working directly from production build programmes deliveries are made to the line as required. The inevitable fluctuations in the customers' schedule demands are smoothed by FB's buffer stocking policies, thereby minimising the risk of interrupting production.
